Our origins are like the roots of a tree. When you cut the tree, the roots survive... Do they still live? This work constitutes the central part of a triptych entitled "Our Roots". It is presented alone because it constitutes the central point of the artist’s thoughts on the influence his origins on the path of his life. In view of the other parts of the triptych, the artwork is more eventful, it is the interpretation of the changes of the aquatic life over the years.
