Mi nombre es Rafel Vidal, nací en 1964 en la isla de Menorca, en pleno Mediterráneo. Desde niño mi gran afición fué dibujar en todo papel que encontraba y descubrir el campo y la costa que años más tarde pintaría ya como oficio. Desde que decidí ser pintor he tocado muchos temas como la naturaleza muerta, el paisaje y, últimamente, el retrato y el desnudo femenino. Mi estilo está ligado a la tradición europea de la figuración, sin ninguna intención de transgredir las normas que rigen este antiguo y maravilloso oficio que es el de pintar cuadros
