About The Artwork
It was really not easy to get nude model so I usually did get a photography for my nude painting. This painting is inspired from a photography by taken Edward Steichen " Nude Torso" 1934 for article Vogue. I prefer to choose black and white photography and then I could express my feeling by using color to create my own painting . Steichen internationally known as a photographer also was a painter , he did exhibited in France and America . He introduced sensationally new concepts of realism to commercial and art photography. Steichen created the most widely acclaimed exhibit in the history of photography " The Family man " . this exhibit was circulated 38 countries and was viewed by more than 9 million people. I like him as great artist is remembered the best photographer who did make a movement dedicated to a photography as a creative art . I tried to express my emotional feeling and understand this nude torso what he saw.

Ever since I discovered the great impressionists like Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Gauguin as a child , I wanted to be a artist. Since then, I have realized that painting truly is the thing that makes me happiest and has kept my passion for life going.
