October Painting

There’s a unique place in Russia that is filled with life-giving energy and known for its miraculous nature. This is Altai. I’m in the middle of this beauty and I’m happy that I can live and create here. I paint because I can’t help doing it. Art and beauty are my air and a constant source of the energy. I’ve always been attracted to ancient frescoes, destroyed walls, old furniture, household items. They carry the influence of time and life. It’s life that gives matter a character. Objects truly live and sound when a person and time touch them. Since I’m inspired by the “time effect”, I've been looking for a technique that will give voice to my feelings. Finally, I’ve found it. Now I’m developing it through my paintings. I really love Middle Eastern culture. It’s rich and mysterious, with its own character and atmosphere. The Middle East also influences my art, inspiring me to be courageous and express my ideas. The state I create my artworks in plays a major role for me. I'm convinced that every material object carries a lot of information on the subtle plane. While creating, my thoughts set certain vibrations. Therefore, before painting, I set myself for a state of joy and creative inspiration, so that the artwork gives this inspiration to the viewer. Mostly I use oil paint. I like its texture, it allows me to embody my ideas. As a plane I like to use a linen canvas stretched over a fibreboard. I also use wood panels. My painting technique requires a hard surface to create unique effects.
