ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This historic bank barn in Hampstead, MD was built in the nineteenth century using only wooden pegs secured in mortice and tenon joints. I see the barn frequently and was inspired by the light and the patterns of the shadows on the weathered wood. The painting is oil on canvas and measures 22"x28". It is unframed.
