Sandra ENCAOUA BERRIH is a Franco-American visual artist. Founder of the Trans EXPRESSIONIST movement, she blends expressionism and spirituality in her work, celebrating a painting of passage and inner alchemy, where emotion becomes breath and presence. Each artwork is a space of transition, breath, and vibration. She mainly works around three themes: landscapes and their transcendence (Earth’s Memory), the intensity of human emotions (Passing Through), and Jewish history (Judaica). She works primarily with oil and watercolor. In 2022, Sandra won the First Prize in Painting from the City of Pembroke Pines (FL, USA) for her Passing Through series, as well as the Painting Prize of the Wellington Art Society (USA) in 2021. In 2020, she received an art grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation (New York, USA) and was honored in 2017 with the medal of the Académie des Arts-Sciences-Lettres of Paris, France. Her works are regularly exhibited in the United States and Europe. She is a member of the Taylor Foundation (Paris) and the Jewish Art Salon (New York). Her artworks have been listed on the Art Market since 2012.
