“On the verge of extinction” II Painting

This piece reflects the intensity of emotions and the fluidity of feelings. The fragmented features of the face seem to dissolve, symbolizing creative uncertainty and inner struggles. I created this painting to express the hidden suffering and emptiness of the human soul, often revealed in the facial features. The work embodies inner turmoil, as the individual strives to maintain outward calm while the spiritual realm is so tense that everything seems to break apart. Moreover, this portrait raises a deeper question: what is the purpose of human existence on Earth? The answer lies beyond the portrait, a key that must be discovered and understood, to find a true connection with one’s inner self.
