I was born in sunny Moldova . When I was one year old, my family moved to Russia, to St. Petersburg, and my childhood was spent between vast expanses of the Moldavian land, where we had a home and the classic beauty of the palaces of Northern Venice. I've always loved painting. Painting is my passion, my life. I love a lively process, fast expressive painting. I paint from nature, but I don't repeat nature. Everything around me is an impulse, an image. I don't paint as I see . I paint as I feel. I want you to see the fragility and the momentary moment of life . The art , I think, is sharing what you feel with others. My choice in painting is oil paints. I adhere to a free style of painting. I do not know where my own emotive intuition will lead me, whether I will paint freer brushwork or streaks of turpentine. Painting for me is a game. I invite you to participate in this game and see much more than you see at the first moment. My paintings are held in collections worldwide, including State Museum Tsarskoselskaya collection (Tsarskoe Selo, Russia) State Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts. (Saint Petersburg, Russia) State Kirov art Museum of Vasnetsov brothers (Kirov, Russia) Minsk Art Museum (Minsk, Belarus) Japanese Palace Dresden (Dresden, Germany) Museum in the castle of the Livonian Order (Ventspils, Latvia) Museum of the House of Crafts (Ventspils, Latvia) Storage of artistic Kohila (Kohila, Estonia) Gallery of Modern art (Larisa, Greece) Gallery of Modern painting (Luleburgaz, Turkey )
