With a career spanning over three decades, he has continually evolved his artistic practice both locally and internationally, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sources including nature, philosophy, travel and personal narrative. Haydn Englander-Porter is widely recognised for his “Blue Trees" series of artworks, butterflies and bird paintings, and large-scale abstract artworks using mediums of both acrylics and oils. He also works with a mix of oil stick, oil and acrylic paints, seeking to create bold colours and wildly imaginative fragmented facial compositions blending surrealism with abstract cubism.
