Orchids are one of my favourite flowers. I love their different shapes and shades of colors, which recall me a watercolors palette and they never leave me indifferent and always make me stop and enjoy their beauty. For this painting I used a mixed technique combining painting brushes and palette knife to give to the subject its depth in space and its touch of impressionism. - For this painting I used a Winsor&Newton stretched canvas and high quality oil colors.
