The picture "Under repair" has a double meaning. Not only the ship on the shore is being repaired under a blue sky. But also for nature, autumn is a repair, preparation for renewal. The leaves turn golden under the autumn sun. The grass is already dry. This autumn turned out to be very warm, and I went a lot to nature, to write sketches. On one of these trips, I went not far from the city. I wrote views of the local autumn mountains with a river. And then I went down to the river and saw some small boats in the water, and a huge ship was standing on land. I have always been fascinated by such a technique, powerful, large. And these rust and dents, traces of water, how much color they have. No one saw this beauty and did not understand the whole idea until they saw the finished picture. Each such technique, whether it is a ship, a combine harvester, a tractor, a tug or something else, has its own history. Work history. And the ship also has a name, as you call it, so it will sail. This picture was painted by me in November 2019 based on autumn sketches. A more square canvas was chosen to show its grandeur, scale. A little creating the feeling that the ship is cramped, and it will now come out here to us. The work was written in several paint layers, and the front part of the ship was several times lessirovka. Thus, I managed to register all the details and pull the nose of the ship towards us, creating depth and color complexity. This picture is for a person who understands history and painting, who loves technology. Picturesque nuances will fascinate you, and immerse you in the picture. No one else will have such a picture. Because many people have ships, but not on land. The painting is framed in a 2-inch-wide wooden baguette. On the back there is a special clasp with a rope to hang the work. After paying for the product, I will receive an email. Since we have different time zones, I can only answer you in 12 hours. Don't worry, as soon as I see the message and payment, I will write to you. I need up to 5 days to complete customs documents. Then I will pack the painting as securely as possible for transport. So that nothing happens to her during transportation, and she will arrive to you safe and sound. If anything happens, I'll pay you back in full. Once the picture is packed, I will send it by courier service and send you the tracking number. And you can use it to track how the parcel is flying to you.

My name is Daria, and I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and I cannot imagine myself without it. My path to becoming an artist was not fast. For the first time I sat down at an easel at the age of eight in the house of culture of a village in the taiga. Then the inspiring St. Petersburg, in which I felt like a little princess. Every day, when I came home from school, I drew something. And dad offered to go to art school. After five years of art school, there was a year of preparatory courses. An attempt to enter an architectural institute turned out to be a failure, and I entered the art department of the pedagogical university. And it was mine: paintings, portraits in oil, the creative atmosphere in the studio, the smell of paint. Even in my first year of studies, I began to attend sessions of nature, which were organized by fellow artists who had long since abandoned the art institutions of the city. As a result, I was the youngest there, and one of these colleagues later taught at my art school. Some of my classmates already from the second year went to work as a teacher in an art school, and I was more puzzled by the search for knowledge and the opportunity to draw even more. And when studying at the institute was not enough for me, I also entered the art school. True, I studied, I was there for a little more than six months, but not because I was expelled. By the will of fate or something else, I ended up studying in the workshop of an honored artist (there were only three such lucky ones). He taught us how to stretch and prime canvases, cook oil, write large copies and sketches from photos. I learned a lot about oil painting in this workshop. I now use all this knowledge in my paintings and portraits.
