PEONY BUD Painting

"All I need to create a picture is inspiration and colour! Just one!" I am a professional interior designer, decorator and artist. Painting is my passion! My technique – brushless painting. The first step is the most exciting - it starts the birth of the future picture. Colours on canvas meet, fall in love, argue with each other, interact and give rise to new combinations and midtones. I'm just controlling the flow of different colours, organising them into a conceived image. It's like a tango with a new partner - you just have to feel and trust... I enter the creative process and leave the canvas only when the colours on it calm down, freeze in a beautiful pose and I want to keep this image. It takes many hours. When the paints dry, it is already impossible to change anything. Each work is unique and impossible to repeat. I draw by the soul! Every job has a piece of me. *** I think I should tell you about one more my passion. I love to travel (more than 50 countries visited). I've conquered Antarctica and the mountains of Nepal, watched wildlife of the mountain gorillas in Rwanda, lived in the jungle of Sri Lanka, crossed over the Victoria falls, sailed ХIХ century ship, lived at the museum.... I am pleased to write articles about travelling for several magazines, including the Canadian edition of Vancouver & Us.
