splash&rap TO masz CEBO – audio-instal-performer and painter, born at 8:03 in Zlotow, Poland. A graduate (2005) of University of Arts In Poznan in prof. Wojtasiak's atelier. During his studies he was awarded the grand of the University, the grant of the president of Torun and twice the grant of the marshal of Wielkopolska province. His field of interest is audio installations using the capability of his own voice. He touches upon the problems of spacetime in the context of sound as the movement of the air which enables communication: "The loudspeaker is there, I'm here, we're one or two". He has been been associated with the artistic club NRD and a music band EVERYDAY LINCH till 2013. He has been an artist and a cofounder of an interdisciplinary project B61 INSTITUTE (in which he was working with, among others, Katarzyna Groniec, Mariusz Lubomski, Fisz and Emade) from 2008 to 2013. He is currently working on a new project, space that blends art, business and design. Tomasz Cebo the painter draws inspiration from Joan Michel Basquait, Bacon and J. Pollock. Infantilism, which stems from the longing for childhood, is expressed in letters, unfinished words, very often scrambled and written backwards. The speed of gesture in his painting is to get ahead of Pollock. His involved, characteristic theme is a landscape painting; from realistic to modified, surrealistic world. He likes to surprise himself and that’s why his every painting activity is exciting.
