Creating this work, I sought to capture the vivid and fleeting essence of nature. Using oil, I used free brush strokes to evoke the movement of the trees and the softness of the air. Azure and green shades are intertwined, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the moment of tranquility and be...

Yuri Vladimirovich Kozlyuk is one of the brightest representatives of sentimentalism in Russian art of the late 20th - early 21st centuries. Based on the traditions of the Russian and European schools, the painter managed to create an inimitable coloristic atmosphere in his works. He was born in Leningrad. He spent his childhood and youth in the city of Berdichev, in Ukraine – his father's homeland, where the perception of the artist's world was formed. Early impressions of the rich colors of the nature of Ukraine are reflected in the work. In 1981 he entered the Zheleznogorsk Art College. As a student, he often came to Leningrad and studied in the creative workshop of the People's Artist of the RSFSR E.E. Moiseenko. Upon completion of his education, the young artist worked enthusiastically in the field of theatrical posters. Cooperation with the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater for Young People under the direction of choreographer Georgy Kovtun turned out to be especially fruitful. In 1988. Kozlyuk Yu.V. was awarded the Silver Medal of the VDNH of the USSR in Moscow for a series of socio-political posters. Soft lyricism became the main leitmotif of creativity during the plein airs in the late 80s. The early works of the artist "Poet's Rose", "Palm Trees", "Courtyard", created in the south, are very sentimental. In the 90s, the artist gradually found his own style. The works "Southern still Life", "Fragrance", "Terrace", "For you" are decorative in nature. The author creates an expressive emotional environment in the paintings through color and original compositions. In 2000. Yuri was accepted into the St. Petersburg Union of Artists of Russia and regularly participated in Russian and international exhibitions. Since 2022, the master has been living and creating in France. His works are in private collections in Moscow, St. Petersburg and abroad.
