I often see many herons of all sorts in the marsh near docks patiently standing looking for a fish to eat. I admire how still and patient they are. And to watch them move and walk so carefully not making a ripple in the water is wonderful to see. So many lessons to learn about patience, and being careful in all that you do. I hope viewing this painting will make one consider those things, as well as the gifts nature brings all of us. No need for a frame, sides are painted. Wired and ready to hang.
