On the lake there’s a specific light around 8 in the evening if it is a little bit cloudy and sun is gone behind the hills - the sky is blueshly-warm and the water reflects it, making everything on it look as if on a white shawl. There’s the same light around noon if it is very hot - the mist goes up and creates a sort of haze, everything takes a blue-grey-light shade. It’s miraculously peaceful and beautiful.
