In this exquisite watercolor painting, the artist presents a tableau of nature's bounty, featuring a ripe pear, a succulent plum, and the halved remains of another pear, all elegantly arranged on a backdrop of lustrous azure silk. The composition blends realism and delicacy to create a visual symphony of colors and textures. The color palette is a harmonious blend of warm, earthy tones and cool blues. The artist's mastery of watercolors infuses the scene with luminosity, capturing the play of light on the fruits and the fabric. The result is a painting that evokes a sense of sensory delight, inviting viewers to savor the visual and emotional richness of the scene. The painting transports viewers to a realm of stillness and contemplation, inviting them to immerse themselves in the world of ripe fruits and luxurious fabrics. It encourages us to appreciate the simple pleasures of life and to find beauty in the everyday.

Self-knowledge is what my art gives me. I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of uncertainty that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me. The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so. The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew. I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work. I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
