ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This realistic oil painting on canvas is a tribute to the 80s and its extravagant lifestyle. On the picture we can see a luxury sports car Lamborghini Countach parked with a legendary scissors door in front of a night club. The harbour city of Hamburg was well known for its red light district which has served as a relaxation zone for seamen. Lamborghini Countach was the most extravagant car one could buy between 1974 untill 1990. With a powerful V12 combustion engine it could travel at speeds surpassing the magical 300 kilometer per hour boundary.
