Permutation no. 265 - Fine Art Painting Painting

Permutation no. 265 is the 265th variation in a series of drawings and paintings in my project entitled “Permutations.” In the project, I reinterpret the same 30 point teardrop shape over and over again using different materials and techniques. This singular Permutation is a unique composition within the series. It is minimally constructed using a dry brush technique to create the black ground on which the Permutation variation is rendered in white Gel Pen. To balance the composition, I’ve added a drip embellishment of orange watercolor. This item does not come framed, but I include a mock up to help you imagine how to frame and place it into a room. I create new Permutations nearly every day and find inspiration everywhere. If you ever have something you’d like to see, such as a color combination - or even something more specific, let me know.
