ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A loose expressionistic painting of a troubled stare created whilst in University. Influenced by the styles and brushwork of Contemporary artist Jenny Saville, this piece was created to give a messy warmth to the viewer, even when gazing upon a portrait of such negative emotion. The canvas has been taken off its wooden stretcher and wrapped onto MDF wood. Approximately 3-4 weeks of effort applied. Previously exhibited in the Embassy Tea Gallery (London).
