Once again, I was led to paint "energetically." As always happens when I paint, my hand moves very quickly and I do not "see" what I've painted. To my surprise, right in the middle of this painting appeared a Phoenix. Yes, the symbol of transformation. And so it is.

Each color seemed a burst of light. I have this gift, where energy comes through my hands. I am “led” to what I am going to paint and what colors I am going to use. I never know before I begin. I am now 74. I’ve painted over 700 paintings, and sold close to 100 original paintings around the world and my art is in several collections. I am also committed to donating a percentage of my art proceeds to women's causes, such as domestic violence.
