Ioana Oancea -Artist , Life- Coach and World Traveler I come from a modest family in Romania that taught me the value of hard work, respect of self and others, politeness and acceptance of differences. I moved to the US at 19. Challenges were many and, as an immigrant it wasn’t always easy to adapt to my new life in the U.S. I started my career in architectural design in Chicago and then shifted to the government sector after moving to Phoenix ,Arizona. Art and painting was always close to my heart ever since i was little girl. In my long path to success, I have realized that with a strong drive and effort, a world of opportunity has opened for me, like it can for everyone in their own journey. And my journey as an artist had been amazing. ART is my voice and it’s a mixture of message, style, and technique. ..Everyone has a different process for finding their voice. It wasn’t simple for me to pull from deep inside myself and find what moves me and to express that through what I create. To work through anxieties of life or find out what ignites my interest…Whatever speaks to me, infuses visual stimuli from life into my work… My long affair with glass, and the many crystal beads applied to my paintings inspired me to create by its fluidity to the way it scatters light onto the canvas and in space... …and then that’s the sublime feminine body that holds the mystery of creation. This simple and primordial truth is often overlooked, but at this time of global crisis, which also carries the seeds of a global transformation, we need to reawaken to the spiritual power and potential of the feminine. And the mystical feminine holds the key to the transformative work i do.
