How would you paint your thoughts? How would you draw your feelings? How would you write your heart beat? How would you picture your breath? Each piece of my artwork is a spiritual materialisation of my soul. I am a Brazilian artist, with a Master degree in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins (London, 2011). I can define myself as an obsessive artist for hearts, dots and words. I can describe my work as an expression of my life with a strong style where I play with textures, use intense rhythm, dominating repetition of forms and gestures. My art is meditative, obsessive and out of mind control. I find inspiration in my inner unquiet mind. I love to mix colours to give body to my thoughts and to write words to draw my soul. I see beauty everywhere in the real world where I let my hands follow my brain noise, my heart beat, my loans breathing. All these non-rigid thoughts and sensibility builds rhythm while I am drawing, painting and writing. When I start the process of creating is like entering in transe: I shut down the world voice and raise up my inner voice. I find in art a medium where I can materialize, make concrete my feelings. The endless repetition of the marks creates an hypnotic sensation for the viewer and myself. I combine materials such as acrylic, acrylic pens, crayons, nanquim, pencils, spray paint, permanent markers and many others artistic materials on paper or canvas. Category: Pop art, expressionism and abstraction.
