About The Artwork
A consistently changing view of the entrance to the mouth of the Tamar River that feeds into Plymouth Sound. A September afternoon overlooking Cawsand Bay into the Sound. The colour and tonal distinctions lift the depth of the scene as well as the depth created by the clouds. I live 100 yards from the water, I see the vista every day, its changing moods inspire me to record them in paint. I paint differing sizes, portrait, landscape and elongated landscape...all exciting to do and enjoy. Lucky me.
