Her focus is on the flowers she grows in her garden, her visiting pollinators, as well as the cloudscapes and landscapes in and around the DFW area. Susan brings a fresh spin to some of the most classic subjects. Her use of bright colors, light and shadows, retro patterns and contemporary color palettes offer something for everyone. Susan’s husband and her two teenage boys work as studio support and sometimes cheerleaders.
