Plein air painting of the peak bloom of a magnificent pink magnolia tree. This tree had a twined shape of crossing branches before it was hit by an enormous oak tree after a storm in 2017 and has survived and re-balanced itself. Painted with oil paints and oil pigment sticks on acrylic primed linen with 3/4" stretchers.
