ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I am tired of classical images of flowers. I want to abstract the subject matter as much as possible without compromising the beauty of it. I came across these flowers called PINKS by meeting a local neighbor on a walk around the block. She told me what they were called because I had no idea. I should re name the piece 'Pat's Pinks' but for now they will remain Pinks.

Hello and thank you for dropping by. My name is Diana, I was born and raised just North of Toronto. I lived on a hobby farm with my parents and 3 siblings. We had sheep, chickens and rabbits and a very large vegetable garden. I lived in what felt like the woods. Our little house was surrounded by huge Maple trees. I like to think that the trees raised me. I also teach art at the Wyndham School of Art in Guelph Ontario. I paint in my home studio.
