About The Artwork
This commissioned portrait is particularly close to my heart. This soft eyed labrador retriever Polly, was one of the dogs of Ms. Renuka Jayapal, a co-founder of Tail Alert, an NGO in Chennai that rescues and rehomes strays, and dogs that have been abused/abandoned. Tail Alert is where I adopted one of my own dogs Faye from, and it's an organization that I love and hope to be able to support more in the future.
