About The Artwork
The poppies are painted on olive wood, which is 100 years old. I wanted to work on a different kind of surface, wood has a wonderful texture and unique markings.I painted the poppies in such a way to enhance the wood. If you have an old piece of wood, with sentimental value, don't throw it away! I'd love to paint on it.

I'm an English artist living and working in Athens, Greece. I have been a creative person for as long as I can remember. For that reason, I have worked in many different styles over the years and used several different mediums to express myself. I'm always searching for new sources of inspiration.
