Growing up in Los Angeles, Erik Flores has always wanted to work creatively, but it wasn’t until his first figure drawing class that he realized who he wanted to be as an artist. Erik received his BFA in from Laguna College of Art & Design with a fervency for portrait and figure painting. He worked as a ghost painter for an art director for 2 years after he graduated. His motivation to depict people is drawn from personal experiences with friends and artists. Erik explores the art gallery scene to bridge his identity with other artists as individuals and creators. He continues to draw and paint out of his studio in Hollywood working on commissions and exhibitions.
