Nadezhda Kokorina is a professional artist and art critic working in the genres of animalism, floral graphics and portrait painting. Inspired by nature, classical art and cinema, she creates emotional works that combine impressionism and realism, as well as various techniques and materials. Nadezhda started drawing since childhood and went through a long creative path: she graduated from an art college with a degree in decorative and applied arts, then received a degree in art history from Ural State University. For more than 15 years she worked in a creative workshop, creating carved decor, and also headed the museum. She currently teaches fine art and art history at an art school, and actively participates in international and regional exhibitions. The artist's works are in private collections in Italy, Switzerland, America, Spain and Singapore. In the future, she dreams of creating her own workshop and gallery, as well as joining the Union of Artists. Artist Statement My art is a reflection of the beauty of nature and the versatility of the human soul. I strive to convey in my works the power of kindness, the warmth of memories, tenderness and inspiration. I work with oil pastels, oil and acrylics, choosing the material depending on what emotions and images I want to express. Pastel allows you to convey softness and sophistication, acrylic gives freedom of expression and brightness, and oil allows you to reveal volume and texture more deeply. My series of graphic and pictorial works are thematically focused on nature and animalism. In a series of animalistic graphics, I explore the tender love and instinctive connection of animals, conveying their spirituality and reverence. In the series "Women – Legends of Cinema" I reveal the power of screen images, exploring their visual aesthetics, inner energy and emotional expressiveness. I believe that art should bring joy, inspire and fill the space with harmony. My paintings help viewers feel connected to nature, recall the warm moments of life and see the beauty in simple things. Art is a dialogue, and I invite everyone to become a part of it.
