Painting: Oil on Canvas, Other, Paper.

I always dreamed about the space - I even tried to be born almost on the day of cosmonautics on April 11th. This mysterious and wonderful world always attracted me.

For this piece i used a real unique piece of Soviet Union newspaper PRAVDA the issue dated April 12th, 1961 - the day when the first man Yuri Gagarin went into the space.

I have been constantly searching for my personal style since my early years at school. I have always been a huge fan of Picasso, Braque and Léger.
I admire large size paintings as it gives the whole range of tools to express myself.

Work materials: oil and canvas. I used also extra materials: news paper, thickener. Will be shipped stretched - ready to hang. It is recommended to use without the frame, since the edges of the work are painted, an additional frame is not necessary.

Signed in front and on the back.

Born in Moscow in Moscow in 1984 in the family of physicist and chief economist of the Ministry of Education of Russia. Grew up studying arts and developing my professional career in artistic gymnastics as a member of the national team. Thus for i got a deep interest in plastic anatomy and body language. The main message in my art i want to stand by is my personal reflection of the current integration of political power in social life. By using this language of symbols such as: dolls, flags, logos, patterns etc, I can express myself and my own point of view regarding the situation, questions about equality and diversity as well as about women’s rights.  As a conceptual thinker i am using mediums (paint oil on canvas) and technical skills and style in order to convey a message about the way I see the world.  These paintings are dedicated to my personal experience when I witnessed the way how power of system performs against peoples feelings. I was deeply thinking about the amount of damage the system can bring itself. My main question was how free soul can survive in the totalitarian society.
