ABOUT THE ARTWORK
It will be 20 years on 31 August 2017 since Princess Diana lost her life in a car crash in Paris. Amongst the millions of photos of the Princess, the one taken by David Bailey is my favourite and inspired me to create this piece. In the photo she appears happy and content, a sparkle radiates from her eyes which I hope I have captured in my painting. The piece was created on 230gsm acid free watercolour paper, using watercolours only.
