Sweet racehorse, mixed breed. I am not looking for pure realism; I like to invent an almost fantastical moment with a horse that does not exist but that I would like to exist. I want to ride it and gallop along the beach. The expressive brushstrokes and dramatic lighting reveal more than just anato...

Visual artist, illustrator, visual creator in constant movement. Santiago Jaén is a visual artist and illustrator with more than 30 years of experience creating, designing and communicating through images. His work is distinguished by a powerful and optimistic identity, marked by the vibrant use of colour with a structure somewhere between Iberian art and cubism and an always restless look, open to play, emotion and visual exploration, almost taken from a vague memory or a cloudy dream. A solid career as a creative director in high-level companies and brands, Santiago has worked on projects of great visual and conceptual impact, always providing a clear, sensitive and effective aesthetic vision. His professional profile has led him to lead design, branding and identity processes in demanding environments, where he has developed a compositional acuity that is also strongly reflected in his painting. As an artist, he has travelled a wide and diverse path, with solo and group exhibitions in different parts of Spain since the late 1990s. His work has evolved organically, going through styles, formats and stages, but always remaining faithful to one idea: art as a language to transmit, move and transform. In recent years he has developed a very recognisable personal line, which fuses contemporary cubism, the dynamism of colour and echoes of Mediterranean and Iberian art, with a fresh, intuitive and expressive style. He is a cheerful, vibrant, versatile artist who paints like someone who breathes: with naturalness, intensity and a sensitivity all his own.
