Throughout history, the crow has been a bird of great symbolism. Ancient Greek's saw crows as the bringers of prophecy and good luck. In Norse mythology, Odin is depicted as having two ravens Huginn and Muninn serving as his eyes and ears – Huginn being referred to as thought and Muninn as memory. The freedom of a bird, the shrouded symbolism of a raven, these are the drivers behind the Icarus series.
