ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by my previous larger figurative works that represent social issues in art. This is more abstract but positive. the title reflects my idea of overcoming conflict through reconciliation and compromise, as in interpersonal relationships, where light of and the warm colors of orange, pink, and beige help balance the darks that penetrate and overlap various shapes. It is a painting of hope and love.
