About The Artwork

The World famous Boston Filenes Basement Boston Ma. inspired this piece. Bargins galore in the basement where friends bought and talked for decades. Viewers will remember the basement and/or conversations they have with good women friends. Daily Discount signs were always diamond shape and the clothing bins oak thus the shape and oak frame. The woman in the pink oversized bathrobe may have stopped trying on to talk to her friend. For us to be privy she has to be painted as close to us a possible.
