About The Artwork

Title: "Give me back the whiskers". Shameless representation of the artist seeking inspiration. In the scene, the cat represents the artist who asks the woman (the feminine principle, the intuition of subtle energies, inspirational Musa) to reshape the vibris. The vibres help the cat to orient himself and perceive what is around him. So here the artist asks the woman to give him the opportunity to seize the inspiration, to paint the work and to show it.
