ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There is a bridge in Yosemite that photographers flock to at sunset, because Half Dome is lit up a bright orange. I decided that instead of painting Half Dome, I'd paint the refection in the water. This painting is watercolor primarily with some gouache. I used frisket to create the trees and ripples.
