I am an artist and a scientist. A naturalist, a poet and a photographer. I am completely self-taught and believe in knowledge and hope. I believe a human being can always find joy from within his/her own self. I prefer watercolor because this medium reflects my wild heart and the wildlife that I paint. It has an intrinsic untameable quality to it. Painting in watercolor is like trying to ride a wild mustang, always an adventure! My subjects are usually from the wilderness because that's where my heart has been since childhood.
