About The Artwork
Roeman is a fat bear having the time of his life! It's August in Alaska and he is in a state of Hyperphagia (eating as much as possible before hibernation) . The fish are coming fast, and plenty. Catching is a certainty. He has gotten to the point where he no longer eats the meat or usually preferred skin from these swimmers. He dines this day solely on roe (fish eggs) And that is the inspiration for the art and his name. Squishing fish and eating roe He is Roeman. Roeman is on gallery wrapped canvas with finished edge and is ready to hang in your home!
