In the dry Northern Cape district many examples of Acacia Trees can be found, each one is unique like an individual that had survived the dry harsh conditions, I try always to make my oil paintings as unique as possible and with as little repetition as possible showing the unique character of each tree and each painting must have their own feel and essence.
