Russian fist fighting Painting

Most artists avoid to work with gouache considering this material is not plastic. And it's true. When working with oil, tempera or acrylic, artist can achieve smooth nuances and bright juicy color layer. With gouache it is not that simple. However, long-term work has allowed me to approach this paint and reveal its amazing features (although, I think, not all). Gouache - a great trainer to improve the skills and discovery of unusual methods of work. When gouache dries, it is becomes lighter, developing deeper insights for the artist and allowing to operate the color layer correctly. By moistening already applied layer of gouache, the artist can achieve the particular scenic beauty and amazing color saturation. This effect can be fixed by applying varnish at the last stage. As for many other artists, my main objective working with gouache is searching for my own way in composition, plastic and coloring. And it is gouache made this path so fascinating and unique to me. For me, it is important that every spectator felt in my work that expression, movement and sensuality, which gouache helped me to put into my paintings.
