Professional artist with over 35 years experience in people and landscape painting. After his classical art training at one of the European art academies Alexander Falk has been dedicating his life to professional people and landscape paintings. With his studio being currently in Germany he gets his inspirations from his regular trips around Europe. Be it on the trails of Monet or in the picturesque harbours of Monaco, the atmosphere is being captured 'en plain air' (outdoor painting). His artworks are in private collections in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Great Britain, Russia, Spain an the US. 'On my trips across Europe I see 1000s of inspiring situations. Painting 'en plain air' has a certain specifics, e.g. one is exposed to the force of nature. Either snow, rain or relentless sun - to be embraced by nature is a precious gift. I enjoy sharing these intense, joyful or thought-provoking moments in my miniatures. Creatively I think in oil only as its rich texture underlines the liveliness of the moment.' Alexander Falk
