ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I spend my winters at the beach. In my "Ocean Series" I seek serenity and eternity. I have combined my favorite bovine models which I have painted for many years with the ocean. Using a limited palette of tranquil blues, warn sand, and whites I seek to create the subtle color changes of the ocean and the beautiful whites of my Charolais calf. This painting is oil on canvas and the sides of the canvas are painted. The painting is wired and ready to hang. I hang my paintings without frames but this painting would look lovely in a silver or warm white frame if desired.
