ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The artist was experimenting in doing a minimalist watercolor where she just dropped in color to create the image rather than drawing it first. The result is a very loose, airy watercolor painting. It's beauty lies in it's looseness and seeing how the paint spreads on its own to create the tulips and leaves. It is an 8 x 10 image painted on archival watercolor paper and matted in a while mat measuring 14 x 11 inches. The mat is included. The painting should be framed under glass.

My true art education began in my thirties when I began taking drawing, pastel and oil painting lessons. I took many lessons and tried many different mediums focusing on watercolors and oils. No my husband and I live in Bryn Mawr. I taught English and Reading for many years and always had students incorporate art into their projects. I have four sons, 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters and another due soon. My life revolves around my family, my art painting and my music-- and I enjoy cooking too.
