Residing near the coast of South Carolina affords me both unobstructed views of the sunrises and sunsets. The land is linear with the sky and water overwhelm the tiny foliage making for some very interesting compositions.The colors in the sky reflect off the water and envelope everything with ease.

In short, I was born in Columbia, S.C in 1968. I've been an artist the entire time. I took art lessons throughout my schooling and winning many art contests. Upon graduation I attended the University of South Carolina obtaining a B.A in studio art in 1991. After graduation I took portrait lessons from Ted Gorka.
