Mexico, 1974. I appreciate the value of fluid expression and the diversity of possibilities to narrate human experiences. My languages go, without blushing or feeling the need of excluding each other, from the abstract and symbolic to the figurative and expressive. I play with the potential of these languages to explore different narratives. I propose self-discovery experimentation by playing with processes of completeness, integration, and re-appropriation/recoding; as well as processes of chaos, rejection and decoding. Through very personal and individual transits, I flirt with symbolic death and rebirth experiences. In some cases, my series of Mandalas follows the construction of mandalas, geometry, and the mathematical bases of, for example, Pythagoras and Fibonacci. In other cases, for example, Essays on Chaos, I study states of confusion and reinterpretation of inner states. And, in Restorations, I explore possibilities and exercises of renewal. I present alternative manifestations of inhabited, travelled and even deserted internal territories, after exploring different strata of the unconscious, as part of a process of subjectivation, following the idea of multiple layers proposed by Felix Guattari.
