ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Tiffani creates her nebula arworks, like SYNZA BETA, in the spirit of wondrous space exploration unfolding in our time. The nebulae coming out the James Webb infrared telescope show what awaits us out there. In an infinite universe, there is a good chance a nebula very much like this one exists. The gripping blackness of space is thrust against a vibrant and enthralling scene of colors bursting to life against a great expanse. Size: 12" x 12" Sides: Oregon Poplar wood with Japanese style, "Shou Sugi Ban" effect* Materials: UV-Resistant, eco-friendly tinted epoxy resin, multilayered for extraordinary depth *Sides: Originating in 18th century Japan, shou sugi ban is a particularly striking method of preserving wood by charring it with fire. Tiffani captures the look of this ancient tradition by sanding and staining the sides charcoal and rubbing it in to the wood grain leaving a similar effect that robustly complements the otherworldly outreach of her nebula paintings. **Note: This painting is best put in a high-light environment so you can see all the details well. The mockup shows a rough estimation of its size in a living space, not exact.
