Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas.

This painting was made in summer of 2015, by that time I wish to try some-think absolutely different then I did befor. I decide to creat a couple of artwork without any preliminary ideas and any sketches. So I started to cover the canvas apply oil paint by a palette knife volumietric layers in a chaotic manner, causing stains of different volume and color. I repeated this procedure 4 times after partial drying, and then joined by walking along of the surface once more with the palette knife. I did not know what will be , but it was such a outstanding journey -to see how is is change after a simple touch, and in the end of my experiment I start to see, that some fantasy place is start appears. The surface of the water began to show through the paint, some salutes and a small island that appeared in the center, began to stand out in it. Then, adding a pair of movements with my palette knife a sailboat is appeared. So I see the image that apperenc. Other people who saw this artwork saw in it some other motives and outlines and I happy that it is this way. Because our dreams and sails that helps everyone sail to them are different.
After some month left I exidently saw in the Internet some abstract paintings that looks great to me, it was the Gerhard Richter artwork, so I realized than in some of thous masterpieces he used quite same technic as I applied in my experimental abstraction, but he never make any figurative hints on that kind of his artwork.
